The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a full-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in acute medical surgical settings. Direct clinical supervision of students may also be required in the Faculty of Nursing, Learning Resource Centre and in primary health care settings including long-term care. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

Qualifications:

BScN or BN, current registration, or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in adult nursing is required. Previous experience in teaching and clinical supervision of students would be an asset. Valid driver’s license required.

Term:  Permanent full-time position

Hours:  37.5 hours per week, involves shift work

Salary: $44.07 per hour in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the University of Prince Edward Island Board of Governors and The University of Prince Edward Island Faculty Association Bargaining Unit #1
