The Registrar’s Office requires a Registration and Scheduling Coordinator to be responsible for course timetable development, space optimization, examination scheduling and overseeing the student registration process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting directly to the Registrar, the incumbent will build, implement and maintain an annual academic timetable with optimum considerations given to a student-centered schedule and best utilized physical space; build the examination schedule, and oversee the academic frameworks to support the preregistration, registration, and block registration processes for students.  The incumbent will work closely with Deans, Chairs and Faculty in collecting and coordinating the academic schedule and with Student Records and Admissions to ensure coding and data standards are accurate.  The incumbent will deliver excellent, responsive customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful applicants will possess an undergraduate degree with three (3) years of related experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Applicants must demonstrate previous work experience in academic timetabling, and space utilization management, and be capable of drawing on previous employment opportunities where he/she has documented strong analytical skills, computer skills and problem-solving/decision-making skills 
  • The incumbent will be a talented problem solver and proactive thinker
  • The incumbent will deliver a seamless and straightforward registration process
  • The successful candidate must have proven track record in customer service excellence
  • The successful candidate must be able to troubleshoot problems, find solutions, think creatively and continuously seek out system efficiencies and process improvement
