You will work out of our office in North Granville over the summer, and work from home in the fall/winter. You will help to plan and manage the work of the summer work-crew, including working with them for part of the time. You will help organize environmental educational outreach activities. You will manage a water sampling and testing program, and use GPS software to manage data collected during the year. You will plan and perform surveys such bat monitoring, headwater surveys, redd surveys, CAMP, and electrofishing. You will write management plans, develop a website, create educational literature, and manage data. The experience gained will give you a wealth of knowledge of environmental management and monitoring techniques, team management, and supervisory skills. A driver’s license is essential.
