The Cree School Board – an independent First Nations school board in northern Quebec – is implementing recruitment strategies to attract and hire teacher candidates. 

One important initiative is our recruitment events, which are currently held virtually due to the Covid situation. This year we introduce you to our Everyday recruitment (event/month/campaign). Through this event, you can apply and we will schedule the interview with the principal of the school. In these interviews you will learn about our communities, our programming, and what it’s like to live and work in the James Bay territory, which we call Eeyou Istchee.
