The UPEI Launch Pad is an initiative of the PEI Business Development to assist student entrepreneurs in their desire to launch business enterprises. UPEI School of Business is providing space for two student entrepreneurs, in McDougall Hall 208. The mandate of the Launch Pad is to:
- provide a fully functional and operational business location for actively enrolled students of UPEI, in which they will establish a business enterprise, and
- provide the student entrepreneurs with access to an Advisory Board of business experts who will provide counselling, mentorship, business leads, and business experience to the new entrepreneurs.
The UPEI Launch Pad is open to students from all faculties. Students interested in occupying space will be asked to submit a resume, a letter of support from a faculty member or business supporter, and a Business Concept Overview.
