Community Care Practice

AVC's Community Care Practice for companion animals is a family-oriented clinic that focuses on keeping pets healthy as well as treating illnesses and injuries after they occur. The clinic provides regular health checks, elective surgical procedures such as spay, neuter and dentistry, blood and tissue profiling to detect subclinical abnormalities and routine information on vaccination requirements, nutrition, geriatric, and neonatal care. Clients will see the same clinician each visit and their appointments will be kept on schedule. The service provides students with a caseload typical of the kind they would see in practice following graduation.
