Mandate

The mandate of the University Auditor and Risk Management Officer is to develop and enhance a comprehensive enterprise risk management system at UPEI.

Objectives

• To establish a university-wide risk management framework
• To facilitate the identification, measurement and recording of risks and assist risk owners in developing strategies to mitigate their risks
• To facilitate an integrated approach to risk management

Services

The University Auditor and Risk Management Officer maintains the strategic risk register of the university and provides support to the building and maintaining of departmental risk registers.

Risk assessment support is also available for specific projects and activities on request.
