- Internet Service and E-Mail service Belizeis the 153rd country to be connected to the
Internet with the Belize Telecommunications Limited as the service provider.
The two types of access available are Dial-up and Dedicated Access. Under the Dial-up
option the Shell account, SLIP/PPP account and Dedicated Dial-up are available.
Dedicated access users have the option of choosing different speeds ranging from 9.6K
to 64K. Educational Instituitions will receive free access up to 28.8K.

number 501-2-77960.These outsources may assist you in purchasing the proper
equipment and software needed to surf the Net.

- The telecommunications structure of the Federated States of Micronesia is
as follows: The have a telephone network that has 960 lines at Kolonia and Truk.
All of the islands are connected by shortwave radios. There are 16,000 radio
receivers, 1125 TV sets (1987, estimate), 5AM radio stations, 1FM radio station,
6 TV stations, 1 shortwave station and 4 INTELSAT earth stations.
