Welcome to the Island Acoustics Society's (IAS) web site. The IAS is headquarted in Charlottetown, the capital of Canada's smallest province, Prince Edward Island (PEI). The IAS exists to:
- Foster communication among people in PEI having serious interests in any aspect of acoustics,
- Provide educational opportunities in the field of acoustics in PEI,
- Promote the growth and practical applications of acoustics in PEI, and
- Liaise with other provincial, national and international societies that share concerns.
