The Sustainability Advisory Committee is formed as a result of the Sustainability Policy and to affirm the University’s commitment in creating a culture of sustainability on campus.
Members of the Sustainability Advisory Committee include representatives from the following groups:
- Director, Facilities Management, or designate
- Comptroller, or designate
- Director, Ancillary Services, or designate
- Manager, Sustainability and Energy Management
- Members of the community (2)
- Administration and support staff representatives
- Students (2) - One member representing the Graduate Student Association and one member representing the Student Union
- Faculty (3) - One member being the Director of Environmental Studies
Meetings are held monthly throughout the academic year and as required during the summer. Meetings can be conducted by a variety of methods, including in person, by telephone conference, web-cast, or other electronic communications media.
