2010 Residence Energy Conservation Challenge

On this site you will find information on who is involved, how they are doing and a code of conduct created by students at Mount Allison to help keep things civil.  

The Challenge

The challenge runs from January 10th to February 20th and asks students to reduce their electrical energy consumption over that period. This is the second year for the challenge at UPEI and to "up the ante" this year, we've challenged residences from across the Maritimes to reduce their consumption as well.

Participants

This year we have residences from the University of New Brunswick, Holland College, St. F. X.University, Dalhousie University, Mount Allison University and the University of Prince Edward Island. In all, over 30 residences and more than 2000 students are participating. Check out the participants page for details on the residences participating.

Tracking Our Progress

As the challenge progresses, this page will be updated weekly with the latest results for each participating residence. 

Code of Conduct

Use this Code of Conduct as written or adapt it for use on your campus. The idea is to make the challenge fun while ensuring that safety standards and fair play are maintained.
