April 6 deadline Animal Care Protocols

This is a reminder that the deadline for submission of Animal Care Protocols (new, renewal, or amendments) is Tuesday, April 6 for the April meeting. For more information, contact Sherri Pineau at 566-0973.

Music @ the Robertson Library

The Library is hosting an informal and informative performance by Island cellist Julia MacLaine, violinist Jennifer Curtis, and violist Margaret Dyer which could charm your lunch hour tomorrow. Julia, Jennifer, and Margaret, who play regularly in and around New York and Boston, primarily in ensembles and projects they have founded, will perform from 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the Library’s foyer. Come ... listen to the music, converse with the performers, and change-up your day. Everyone is welcome to this musical and Q & A interlude.

On Thursday, March 18, a follow-up concert, entitled Schumann Birthday Celebration, will take place at UPEI’s Steel Recital hall at 7:30 p.m. These three performers will be joined by UPEI faculty pianist Frances Gray.

Men’s curling rink wins CIS silver

The UPEI rink of Brett Gallant, Adam Casey, Anson Carmody and Alex MacFadyen carried off the silver medal at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) Curling Championships in Edmonton. Gallant’s rink won four consecutive games on Saturday to advance to the final. The Panthers dropped a 7-6 decision to Queen’s in the championship game on Sunday.
