We are pleased to introduce Patsy G. MacLean, who is assuming the role of interim Fair Treatment Advocate.
Patsy is a nurse lawyer, who has served in a variety of management positions in the health sector ranging from Utilization Management Coordinator, and Assistant Director of Nursing, to acting Executive Director of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown. She has also risen through the ranks of legal service in the Government of PEI culminating in her appointment as Assistant Deputy Attorney General, and later, Deputy Attorney General. Patsy is skilled in the areas of strategic policy and planning, facilitation, negotiating and conflict resolution.
Patsy's appointment as Interim Fair Treatment Advocate will run until such time as the Fair Treatment Policy and program review is completed and the position has been advertised and filled. You may reach her at 626-2520 or pmaclean@hra.ca.
The last day that a physician is in the health centre on campus is April 14, and the health centre will close for the summer on April 30.

A blood donor clinic will be held in the Chi-Wan Young Sport Centre on Thursday, March 25 from 11 am until 3 pm. With a busy long weekend coming up in April, donations at this clinic are particularly important.
