Rick Schneider has over 20 years of experience in tertiary education, specializing in Physical Geography, Natural Sciences and Environmental Studies. He has taught in schools and colleges in the UK, Finland and Canada, and has also worked as an Economics and Business Studies instructor and a Senior High School Principal. As well as leading both Physical and Human Geography fieldwork courses in England for over ten years, Rick has created numerous programs of study for Geography students in Britain.

Rick currently teaches ENV 321 Natural Hazards and ENV 212 Earth's Physical Environment in the Environmental Studies department and English Academic Preparation at the International Relations Office. He has also recently collaborated on the PEI Department of Education Geography component of the high school science curriculum. Rick received the Hessian Award for Excellence in Teaching in May 2014.
