| Description: | This award will be presented to an AVC large or small animal intern or resident who has offered superb mentorship to members of the graduating class, demonstrated excellent clinical skills, and showed extraordinary dedication to and passion for their work. This award is presented to the intern or resident who the graduating class feels they would most like to emulate in their future careers. A previous recipient of the award is an eligible candidate in subsequent years. |
| Background: | This award was created by the Class of 2006 through their desire to leave a legacy acknowledging their appreciation for the high quality education received while studying at the Atlantic Veterinary College, UPEI. It is the hope of the Class of 2006 that future classes will also reflect upon their time at AVC, look for opportunities to leave their own legacy and take the time to thank those who hve helped them succeed along the way. |
