| Background: | This scholarship was established by a bequest to the University of Prince Edward Island from the Estate of Mr. G. Stewart MacKay to support the educational, athletic and leadership development of students. Mr. MacKay made a significant contribution to community business life in his many years as an entrepreneur and realtor. The G. Stewart MacKay Scholarships are intended to enable aspiring students, particularly those who may be single parents, mature students or graduate students, t o continue their studies. |
