Residence Fees

Please note—all students living in Bernardine Hall or Andrew Hall are required to purchase a 5- or 7-day meal plan each semester. Blanchard Hall residents are not required to purchase a meal plan, but are permitted to do so if they wish. Priority for Blanchard Hall semi-private space is given to upper-year, transfer, graduate, and mature students. Please refer to your registration material and the Residence Life Agreement for fee payment information and schedules.

Note: Credit card payments of tuition or residence fees has been discontinued.

These fees cover the 2023–2024 academic year, and are subject to change. Fees are reflected per semester, but Residence Life Agreements are for the duration of the academic year (September to April). Students will be billed the semester fees in September and January.

Bernardine Hall

  • Single room, with 5-day meal plan: $6,259 per semester
  • Single room, with 7-day meal plan: $6,315 per semester
  • Double room, with 5-day meal plan: $5,502 per semester
  • Double room, with 7-day meal plan: $5,558 per semester

Bill and Denise Andrew Hall

  • Single suite with 5-day meal plan: $6,629 per semester
  • Single suite with 7-day meal plan: $6,685 per semester
  • Double suite with 5-day meal plan: $6,444 per semester
  • Double suite with 7-day meal plan: $6,500 per semester
  • Triple suite with 5-day meal plan: $6,444 per semester
  • Triple suite with 7-day meal plan: $6,500 per semester

Blanchard Hall

  • Semi-private (private bedroom): $3,579 per semester

New UPEI Residence

  • Single apartment: $4,100/semester
  • 2-bedroom suite (your own bedroom): $3,900/semester
  • 3-bedroom apartment (your own bedroom): $4,100/semester
  • Double apartment (sharing a bedroom with one other student): $3,500/semester

Residence Meal Plans

  • 5-day meal plan: $2,777 per semester (no tax)
  • 7-day meal plan: $2,833 per semester (no tax)

Security deposit

  • $300

Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation (St. Peter's Bay)

  • Full two-bedroom unit: $900 per month
