  A fine site providing the most recent statistical information about religious groups; information covering the last half-century; and statistical information about various religious groups.

  A well-organized report issued by the U.S. State Department (2001) in compliance with the International Religious Freedom Act (IRFA). It has brief and reliable descriptions of the religious facts, demographics, and trends of many countries around the world, as well as comments on religious freedom issues around the world.
   
• Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance
  A fine Canadian site featuring world religions, religious groups, religious beliefs and laws, science and religion, special topics, etc. Its mandate is "to promote religious tolerance and freedom; to describe religious faiths in all their diversity; and to describe controversial topics from all points of view."
