Individuals who are or will be 21 years of age or older on the first day of a pending semester and who have been out of school for at least three years may apply as a “Mature Student.” This application category is available to Canadian citizens and permanent residents only. Such applicants must include with their application a resume and a statement of academic goals, as well as transcripts of any and all institutions attended (including high-school transcripts, if available). Reference letters may be requested by the Admissions Committee, in cases where the Registrar seeks its guidance.
Required and/or recommended conditions may be placed on an offer of admission to mature applicants. Some programs do require that specific high-school prerequisites be fulfilled before an admission offer is finalized.
