Introductory Psychology (all sections) Lab information:
Lab Manual
All of the neccessary information required for completing the Psychology 101 lab assignments is contained in the following document. Please read thoroughly. There have been some changes from last semester:
- Psychology 102 Lab Manual Winter 2010 (PDF)
- All 101 labs are to be submitted online. Through moodle (see below...)
Online Labs:
Please put your names on the front of your labs. Due to changes with online submission, please put your name and student number on your labs.
All of the Intro psychology labs will be submitted online this semester. You will convert your finished report to a pdf file and upload it to the appropriate assignment category on the Moodle for your class. Video instructions on various aspects of the procedure follows:
ALL LABS ARE TO BE CONVERTED TO PDF FILES BEFORE SUBMISSION before uploading to Moodle to ensure that it will be readable when it is marked. If you submit Word, Wordperfect or other wordprocessor files they may not look the same on other computers or may not be able to be opened at all. The conversion to PDF fixes this issue. Instructions on how to do this are outlined below.
- If you use Word Perfect, go to the 'File' menu and select 'Publish to >' . Then choose PDF from the list.
- How to create a pdf from MS Word (or any other software) using Primopdf (method one). *If you use a Mac, see below.
- How to create a PDF online (method two)
- If you use a Mac computer: in your word processor, got to the 'File' menu and click print. Then click the PDF button and choose 'save as pdf'.
