Convocation

Welcome to UPEI's Convocation website! Every spring, the University of Prince Edward Island holds Convocation ceremonies to celebrate and award degrees and diplomas to its graduating students.

The Convocation ceremonies are held indoors at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre at the University of Prince Edward Island, 550 University Avenue in Charlottetown. The first ceremony begins at 10:00 am and the second one begins at 2:30 pm, after graduates have proudly walked in a procession across campus.

In the week leading up to Convocation, UPEI graduates plan a week of activities in combination with official University-organized Convocation events. Please use the menu at the left of this page to find all the information you need about UPEI Convocation.

This year, UPEI's two Convocation ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
