Transfer Pathways

Bachelor of Environmental Studies - Pathway from Holland College EAST diploma

The Pathway from the Environmental Applied Science Technology (EAST) diploma to the Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) program provides students with the opportunity to combine the practical and analytical strengths of courses completed at Holland College, with interdisciplinary courses at the University of Prince Edward Island. As an interdisciplinary liberal arts and science program, the Pathway to the Bachelor of Environmental Studies will complement the strong field training acquired during the college diploma program, with the knowledge gained from courses in the faculties of Arts, Science, and Business.  To address environmental issues, individuals require scientific, technical, human and social perspectives.  This pathway program will help prepare students to lead the way in finding innovative solutions—making a positive impact toward sustainability in their personal life, locally and globally.

Students graduating from Holland College with the EAST diploma with a minimum of a 70% average are eligible to apply to UPEI for admission into the Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree program (third year standing).
