When your regular UPEI network account is created, an automatic process also creates a new account for you in Google Apps.  So, you are able to have a look at the service and determine if it's something you want to use in place of Groupwise.

Open the web browser of your choice and point it to this address: https://g.upei.ca

This will load an authentication page - just fill in your usual network username and password, click the login button and you be admitted to your UPEI Google Apps account.

There may be a couple of welcome messages, but until you formally change to using Google Apps as your default mail program, no other email messages will reach you here.
