This network uses more advanced security authentication mechanisms but requires additional software setup.

This is the wireless connection of choice for the UPEI Community because it offers encryption of wireless traffic and provides secure access to the campus network. The network will authenticate users before access is allowed.

On most Windows computers, additional software installation and configuration is required to handle encryption and security. On Macs using earlier versions of OSX, specific configuration is required.  On recent Mac (OSX 10.8+) you can use your username and password as usual, without any special configuration.
