The Psychology Department seeks applications for positions as student markers and teaching assistants for various Psychology courses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attending training and orientation sessions
• Assisting professors in classroom learning activities, proctoring quizzes and exams
• With the aid of a marking template the successful candidate will scan tests to provide feedback and the assignment of preliminary grade recommendations on various psychology courses
• Ongoing communication with instructor or Heather Russell

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful applicant should have completed his/her second or third year of study in an undergraduate psychology program
• Strong interpersonal skills are required
• Reliability and dependability are a must

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
