Hours of Work: 

10 – 15 hours per week

Salary: 
$10.40 per hour (vacation pay included)
Term: 

June 2012 – August 31, 2012 (May be extended depending on performance, available funding and department requirements.)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Taking direction from the Manager, Web Communications and Innovations, the Student Assistant is responsible for: • Assist with interacting with campus clients to explore their web needs • Assist with updating and reviewing upei.ca websites • Other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience with Drupal and in supporting and developing web content. • Familiarity with upei.ca and UPEI structure. • Writing and organizational skills — the ability to present information in a coherent and interesting manner. • A keen interest in working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment. • Attention to detail. • Priority to UPEI students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures. Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
