Student Assistants (Up to 4 Positions)
Hours of Work: 

Up to 10 hours per week

$11.18 per hour (vacation pay included)

Fall semester, 2016, with possible extension to Winter semester, 2017

The Psychology Department seeks applications for positions as student assistants for the proctoring and scanning of test and exams in Introductory Psychology, for entering data into spreadsheets, and for other duties as required.


• Attending training and orientation sessions
• Attend selected introductory classes to assist in proctoring quizzes and exams
• Scanning quizzes and exams, using an Excel spreadsheet and other duties as required
• Ongoing communication with instructor or Heather Russell


• Recent and highly successful experience as a student in Psychology 101 and 102 would be beneficial
• Open to students with either a pre-psych or Psychology major status
• Strong interpersonal skills are required
• Reliability and dependability are a must

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
