The Department of Biomedical Sciences is seeking a .75 full-time sessional instructor to assist in delivery of Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology II (VBS 312) to third-year veterinary students in the Winter semester. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

VBS 312 CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY & TOXICOLOGY II
This team-taught course provides veterinary students with a basic understanding of the principles of clinical pharmacology and clinical toxicology as they apply to species of veterinary interest.  Material is covered in both lecture and case-based tutorial formats.   

Responsibilities for this position include preparation and delivery of lecture material and contribution of basic science concepts to joint basic/clinical tutorial discussions, preparation and marking of examinations as appropriate and assisting students where needed.          

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a DVM or other health professional degree and/or a graduate degree (minimum MSc; PhD preferred in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field).  Preference will be given to those with experience teaching Veterinary Clinical Toxicology, but those with evidence of effective teaching in related fields will also be considered.

Priority will be given to members of the UPEI Sessional Roster for the Department of Biomedical Sciences
