The student will work with Dr. Michelle Evason in the Department of Companion Animals. Funding for the position has been provided through the Spectrum of Care In Small Animal General Practice Stanton Foundation Grant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct advanced literature searches related to ‘spectrum of care’
  • Assess and evaluate literature using an evidence-based approach
  • Analyze findings and distribute results
  • Communicate results of findings in written and verbal format
  • Participate in veterinary education research

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate student with experience in conducting advanced literature searches and execution of the above duties required. 
  • Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in spectrum of care, i.e. quality veterinary care that is available to all pet-owners regardless of socio-economic status.
  • A high standard of professionalism as well as excellent communication skills are essential.
