The Department of Health Management at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), is seeking a sessional instructor to assist in delivery of VHM 222 –Principles of Theriogenology. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

VHM 222 –Principles of Theriogenology
This course is a second year course offered during the winter semester. In this course, students develop an understanding of reproductive physiology and control of the estrous cycle in the common domestic species.  Artificial insemination is discussed and companion animal theriogenology is presented in detail.

Applicant must hold a DVM degree and advanced training, preferably a PhD and experience in large animal theriogenology.  Preference will be given to candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit and to those with clinical experience in a teaching institution.
