Dr. Tess Miller with the Faculty of Education is looking for a Student Research Assistant. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare annotated bibliography of current literature • Work with the principal investigator and collaborators to gather and analyze document analysis • Assist with the development and delivery of the questionnaire • Transcribe qualitative responses • Use NVivo9 to analyze qualitative responses • Assist in the preparation of manuscripts for phase one of study • Assist in the preparation of the Insight Grant development QUALIFICATIONS: • Graduate student. • Ability to write at the academic level (please provide a sample of writing). • Ability to develop productive relationships with a wide variety of individuals and communicate clear and accurate information (e.g., individual consultations, resource development). • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, data collection and analysis (both quantitative and qualitative). • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. • Organizational, time-management skills, and problem-solving skills. Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
