The Physics Department is looking for a student assistant to help organize the undergraduate physics teaching labs in preparation for the department’s move to a new building later in the summer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The student assistant will help with the following tasks:
• Help with inventory tagging and photographing of equipment
• Help with locating manual and obtaining electronic copy or scanning in paper-based manual
• Help with inventory data entries into our database
• Help with determining if piece of older equipment is non-fictional/surplus

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful applicant should have completed his/her second year of study in an undergraduate physics program.

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
