Approximately 2-5 hours per week throughout the Fall/Winter semesters.
Shifts may range from 2 hours and will primarily during Central Printing Office hours. Hours may fluctuate with Central Printing Office requirements but will accommodate students’ courses and exams.

Salary: 
$10.92 per hour (vacation pay included)

The Robertson Library is seeking applications for student positions for the 2015 - 2016 academic year. This competition will also be used to create a list for possible future openings. The list will remain in effect until September 30, 2016. Students hired may be renewed for subsequent terms, based on job performance, and employment eligibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will assist the staff in Central Printing with finishing work. This person will be trained in the operation of equipment needed to complete these tasks. They will also participate in the basic maintenance of these products and services. This person will also been assigned other projects and other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrates: an open and willing attitude.
• Punctuality and initiative.
• Ability to take direction.
• Ability to perform repetitive work while retaining careful attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to handle heavy library materials, book carts, etc. and to stand for extended periods of time.
• Experience working with computers is required of all Library student assistants.
