RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist with coastal field ecology research on PEI beaches and dunes. The research will involve a combination of greenhouse work, outdoor habitat surveys, plant performance measurements, data collection and data entry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate(s) must have completed at least two years of a Biology undergraduate degree, and have demonstrated an interest in plant biology and/or coastal ecology. Students must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather, get their hands dirty, demonstrated the ability to work with others, have patience, and show attention to detail. Students must also be able to work full-time hours and have a valid driver's license. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply, but priority will be given to returning UPEI students with an interest in the Biology Honours program.
