$750/semester depending on sport (vacation pay included)

September 2015 – March 2016 (term may be extended due to budget, student eligibility and performance).

The University of Prince Edward Island Athletics and Recreation Department is looking for student trainer/managers for the Panther Sport. 


• Provide basic first aid for a varsity team. 
• Required to attend all training sessions involving taping and basic first aid techniques. 
• Will be required to perform preventive taping as directed. 
• Act as student managers for teams with duties such as; equipment coordination, sports information and supporting the coach. 
• Perform without direct supervision and also to perform other duties as required.
• Attend practices as well as home/away games. 
• Conduct themselves and their work in a pleasant, presentable and professional manner.


• Relates positively to “Physiotherapy” Staff and customers.
• Must be willing to become certified in standard CPR and First aid. 
• Candidates must be dependable, assertive, enthusiastic, outgoing, and courteous. 
• Experience with leadership and first aid an asset. 
• An excellent learning position for students interested in a career in sports medicine.
