The School of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island has a sessional teaching opportunity in N601:  Advanced Human Physiology & Pathophysiology, for the Winter/Spring 2017 semester.  This position is subject to budgetary approval.

NURS 601 ADVANCED HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY & PATHOPHYSIOLOGY SEMINAR
This course discusses the function of human organ systems, emphasizing disease states. Seminars and independent study will focus on how to diagnose diseases, minimize disease risk and formulate therapeutic management plans.

Lecture: 3 hours per week

Dates: January 3, 2017 to May 19, 2017

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing or Masters of Science or a related discipline.  Doctoral preparation is preferred.  Strong expertise in human physiology and pathophysiology is required.  Previous experience in teaching is an asset.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster, and to those with experience in teaching university level courses.
