Approximately 4-7 hours per week. Hours will vary according to the needs of each instructor and course.

$10.74 (vacation pay included)

The Department of Sociology & Anthropology is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated students who excel in their UPEI studies in Sociology to work as Student Assistants in two sections of Sociology 101, ‘Introduction to Sociology I’, for the Fall 2013 semester.
• Major in Sociology or a combined major in Sociology & Anthropology
• One reference from a UPEI professor
• Excellent communication skills
• Some familiarity with computer software such as spreadsheets or Moodle
• Ability to work one-on-one with no supervision
• Must be able to work well with others
• Have an interest in teaching
• Highly motivated
• Must be flexible and reliable
