10 – 20 hours per week

$10.40 per hour (vacation pay included)

 The Department of Athletics and Recreation is currently creating a list of energetic, outgoing, customer service focused team members to join our Panther Event Staff for the 2013-2013 varsity seasons. The Score Clock Operator is important in creating and enhancing the atmosphere and overall experience of Panther Events.
• Operate the official game score clock throughout duration of game; including pre-game warm ups
• Attention to details
• Adaptable and quick thinking
• Perform well under potentially stressful situations
• Possess strong computer skills
• Working knowledge of playing rules and regulations for all or some of UPEI Varsity sports (Basketball, Soccer, Field Hockey and Rugby) is considered an asset
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be comfortable in large crowds
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (3-4 hours)
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions as some events are held outdoors
