Interested DVM students are invited to submit applications for a student research assistant with a prospective clinical research project this summer. The title of the study is "Effect of dexmedetomidine administration on radiographic evaluation of cardiac silhouette size and echocardiographic parameters in normal cats".
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be involved with recruitment of cats for the study, managing the work flow of the recruited patients, assisting with thoracic radiographs and echocardiograms, and finally will assist with data collection and compilation. This will allow not only opportunity to gain experience with clinical research, but also provide increased familiarity with diagnostic procedures such as radiographs and echocardiography.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-  DVM student
-  the ability to work independently
- good organizational skills
