Hours of Work:
20-25 hours/week (variable) to a maximum of 200 hours over the term.  Must be available afternoons, Monday to Thursday.
Salary:
$36,274 to $39,904 per annum, prorated to time and term as per CUPE 1870
Term:

September 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements)

The Department of Biology of the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a lab coordinator to be responsible for labs in Biology 3260 (Introductory Physiology of Cells and Organisms) during the Fall Semester.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include:
• Setting up Physiology laboratories
• Attending Physiology laboratories and assisting students with technical parts of labs
• Assisting students with writing reports and performing data analysis
• Assisting the course instructor with evaluating of written work
• other duties as assigned by the course instructor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.Sc. in Biology, with a strong background in physiology
• Experience instructing physiology labs
• Good scientific writing skills
