Hours of Work:
3-12 hours/week (variable) to a maximum of 63 hours over the term. Must be available Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons (for three weeks of the semester) and Monday and Tuesday evenings (for 12 weeks of the semester).
Salary:
$26.75 per hour as per CUPE 1870
Term:

September 6, 2017 to December 20, 2017 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements)

The Department of Physics of the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a casual tutorial coordinator to be responsible for tutorials in Physics 1110 (General Physics I) during the Fall Semester.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include:
• Attending Physics 1110 laboratories to assist students
• Assisting the course instructor with evaluating written work
• Other duties as assigned by the course instructor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.Sc. in Physics, with a strong background in instructing introductory physics.
• Experience instructing physics tutorials.
• Experience grading physics test questions
