up to 90 hours per lab (total) per lab section

$16.97 per hour (vacation pay included)

September - December, 2014 and January - April, 2015

The Chemistry Department requires student teaching assistants to prepare, supervise and mark the laboratory portion of chemistry courses for the Academic Year 2014-15. 


• Supervision of Chemistry laboratories at the first year level (Chemistry 111-112); second year level (Chemistry 202, 221, 231, 272 and Chemistry 241/242/243); and third year level (Chemistry 322, 331, 342, 353, 361, 374, and other third year labs as needed). 
• Duties will also include marking reports, submitting grades for the laboratory to the course instructor, and other duties as assigned by the course instructor or Chair.


• B.Sc. in Chemistry. 
• Experience in instructing the course for which they are applying is a strong asset.
