The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island has a sessional teaching opportunity in NURS 4040, Conceptual Models and Nursing Theories, in Fall 2017 academic year. This position is subject to budgetary approval.

NURS 4040 Conceptual Models and Nursing Theories
In this course, students are introduced to the works of selected nurse theorists. Students develop skills in critical analysis and application of conceptual models and theories to practice.
Lecture: 3 hours per week
Applicants must have a Masters Degree in Nursing and RN designation with the Association of Registered Nurses of PEI (ARNPEI) is required. Strong expertise in nursing theory and models, primary health care and translating theory to practice required. Previous experience in teaching is an asset.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster, and to those with experience in teaching university level courses.
