Dr.  Jean Mitchell (Sociology and Anthropology) is seeking a student to undertake transcriptions and to assist in the collection of research material (archival and library) on Missionaries and Cultural memory in Prince Edward Island and Erromango, Vanuatu.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transcribe digitally recorded interviews conducted in PEI
• Conduct archival  and library searches for material
• Help with organization of project material
• Other related tasks such as coding

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The ideal candidate will be a student who has experience or interest in research
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail in transcription important
