The Department of Philosophy at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach the following course during the Winter 2020 session. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. 

PHIL-2090 Special Topics
Regular 3-credit course on a topic to be decided by the instructor in consultation with the Chair.

Please send your proposed topic and a brief description.  If your proposal is of interest, we will request a syllabus to enable further consideration.  Areas of particular interest are aesthetic philosophy, ethics and information technology, and Indigenous philosophies if taught by an Indigenous instructor.  But we are open to other areas as well.

Time:   MWF 12:30 - 1:20 

Please note that applicants on the UPEI sessional roster for Philosophy will be considered first.

It is expected that applicants will have a Ph.D. in Philosophy. Applicants should submit a letter of application, an updated C.V., description of your proposed topic, and the names of three references to:
