The School of Business is seeking to hire a Student Research Assistant to assist with a research project examining composition of Canadian Boards of Directors. The co-supervisors for this project are Professors Amy MacFarlane and Dr. Susan Graham.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To gather specified data from the publicly available corporate filings of Canadian companies relating to Board of Director composition. 
• To review and summarize related academic literature.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4th year business student with demonstrated prior research experience.
• Completion of ACCT422 and knowledge of corporate governance practices in the Canadian context are considered assets.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
