The Department of Philosophy at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach the following course during the Winter 2020 session. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. 

PHIL-3540 Philosophy of Mind
This course examines basic problems in philosophical psychology, such as the mind/body problem, intentionality, artificial intelligence, functionalism, the nature of consciousness, and virtual realities.

Time:  Tues 6 – 8:45 pm

Please note that applicants on the UPEI sessional roster for Philosophy will be considered first.

It is expected that applicants will have a Ph.D. in Philosophy. Applicants should submit a letter of application, an updated C.V., a sample syllabus for Philosophy 3540, and the names of three references to:
