The Department of Fine Arts History invites applications from qualified sessional instructors to teach the following courses in the Fall Semester of 2016. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

Course: FAH 101 Intro to the History of Western Art I

This course introduces students to the development of visual art from Prehistoric to Medieval times. Emphases is place on the study of major works of art, methods of analysis, use of proper terminology history and cultural contexts, and changes of forms and styles

Course: FAH 301 Renaissance Art

This course introduces students to the artistic milieu in Europe -with a particular emphasis upon the Italian and Flemish schools - from the early Fifteenth Century to the mid-Sixteenth Century

MA or PhD in Fine Arts.

Previous related professional experience, and the ability to provide an experiential learning environment, will be considered assets.

Members of the Sessional Roster of the academic unit will be given priority.
