A student is required to help support an NSERC funded research program in Dr. Russ Kerr’s laboratory.  Strong students with interests in analytical / organic chemistry as well as interest in microbiology will be given priority and are encouraged to apply. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct bacterial fermentations and extractions
• Analyze HPLC-MS data sets
• Conduct statistical analysis on large data sets
• Maintain accurate data records 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B+ overall average or higher in Chemistry courses
• Knowledge of basic analytical chemistry methods
• Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
