 The Department of Companion Animals seeks to develop a casual list of Teaching Assistants to participate in VCA 340 Surgical Exercises in Companion Animals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the faculty with pre-operative physical exams o animals intended to participate in the laboratory;
• Assist with student instruction within the laboratory;
• Assist with reviewing student medical records where applicable;
• Participate in rounds with the student surgeons when applicable;
• Assist with post-operative care of animals when applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate student at the Atlantic Veterinary College; have a DVM degree with relevant experience in small animal surgery; and, previous experience is desired.
Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
